Since
Dr. P. N. V. Kurup took over as the Vice-Chancellor
of this University from 1998 more stress is being given
to popularization of Ayurveda in foreign countries.
University has opened admissions to foreign nationals
in various courses already conducted and designed some
new courses according to the need of these students.
Looking to the growing demand of Ayurveda in foreign
countries Gujarat Ayurveda University has established
link with many Institutions and Associations in these
countries. Many of these Institutions want to have collaboration
for teaching, training and research in Ayurveda. The
Govt. Of India has already signed Memorandum Of Understanding
with NAAMI, Medical Center Moscow, Russia in which Gujarat
Ayurveda University is one of the implementing bodies.
University will soon be signing Memorandum Of Understanding
with the Institutions in Japan, Australia, Netherlands,
America, Germany, Italy & Argentina.
